Where to fish in Croatia

Fishing in Croatia: first of all, surf casting is practically impossible in Croatia, because there are almost no real beaches and therefore few conditions for it. I have chosen to summarise six fishing spots that I find very interesting for rock fishing.

I have grouped the fishing spots by location, so on the following pages you will find spots that are fairly close to each other. These are “only some” of the countless fishing spots along the Croatian coast. I “chose” them for convenience, because they are easy to reach by car, and of course for the fishing! So nobody should “hold it against me” if I left out other spots, on purpose or not. You will find information on exposure to the winds, fishing depths, the seabed, the baits to use, how to get there and other details I thought worth including. I hope they will help you on your fishing trips in Croatia.
